Mr. Wallace G. Shrader, 90, of Bainbridge passed away Monday, January 4, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley and Rev. Harold Burrell officiating. Interment follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo.

Mr. Shrader was born May 30, 1919, in Chattanooga, TN, the son of Terrell Shrader and Helen Spear Shrader. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired representative with Independent Life and Accident Insurance Company, and a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two wives, Lilyan S. Shrader and Helen Lane Shrader.

Survivors include three children, Mary Lane (James) Fudge, Colquitt, Nora Lane (David) Knowles, Gulfport, MS, Sadi Hasona, Bainbridge; two brothers, Clive Shrader, Miami, FL, and Barnard Shrader, Warrenton, VA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer F. Player, Curt Fudge, John Fudge, David Fudge, Courtney Knowles, Michael Knowles, Hema Hasona, and Nour Hasona; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Player, Kate Player, Daniel Fudge, and James Fudge.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
