Mr. Frank L. Standifer, Sr., age 65, of Donalsonville passed away Friday, January 8, 2010, in Brooksville, FL.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 10, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evans- Skipper Funeral Home with Minister Rickey Eppes and Rev. Wade Bridges officiating. Interment followed at Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Brad Cross, Louie Cross, Chris Moates, Isaac Bush, Justin Whittaker and Frank Barron.

Mr. Standifer was born in Erick, OK, on January 30, 1944, to Hazel M. Riddle Standifer and the late Lawrence Boyd Standifer. He was of the Baptist faith and had served his country in the US Air Force and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Standifer was a truck driver.

Survivors include his mother, Hazel M. Owen, Edmond, OK; three sons, Frank (Tommie Sue) Standifer, Jr., Owen Standifer, Colquitt, Kevin (Jennifer) Sconyers, Shreveport, LA; three daughters, Lori (Darryl) Sessions, Camden, AL; LeAnn (Robert) Sapp, Weeki Wachee, FL; Tonya (Brad) Cross, Donalsonville; one brother, Doyle G. (Sharon) Standifer, Edmond, OK; one sister, Peggy (Dennis) Forbes, Lebanon, MO; and 14 grandchildren and a special friend, Jeanette Moates.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Boyd Standifer, and his step-father, Ben Owen.
