Nursing Home News
Residents and staff have started the new year off with a bang.
Sunday morning we had Sunday School, and Sunday afternoon we had members from Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church with us.
Monday morning we enjoyed a little friendly competition playing our different games for game time. Monday afternoon we enjoyed watching movie.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings we played bingo. Monday afternoon Mrs. Jane Wiggins was with us for “Grandma’s Attic.”
Wednesday morning members from Colquitt First Baptist came for our church service. Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed coffee and doughnuts during coffee shop. Wednesday evening members from Kingdoms Corp came to share with us.
Thursday afternoon we had a time of remembering our past new years’ celebrations. I will have to say I learned about several traditions I had never heard of.
Friday morning residents enjoyed singing along with Brother Mike Mounts and enjoyed the words of encouragement that he gave to us. Friday afternoon we had library time.
As you can see we have started the new year off at full force. We are still looking for some card, checkers, dominoes, and wii players. If you are looking for a good time and a little competition, come out on Monday mornings and play with us.
Thanks to everyone who took part in activities last week and to those of you who visited. Come back soon.
