We have been gearing up for 2010 here at Miller Nursing Home. It is out with the old and in with the new. There are lots of different things we are going to be doing in the activities’ department. On Monday mornings we are putting in place “Game Time.” This will be when residents will spend time in the dining room playing cards, checkers, dominoes, Wii and any other games they might wish to play. If you are good or if you would just like to give it a try playing, please make it a point to come out and be with us. There is lots of stiff competition around.

We are still looking for those of you that would be interested in bringing your pet to visit. We are setting Friday as bring a pet day. so if you have a furry friend you would like to share, give me a call at 758-4235.

We enjoyed our regular activities last week as well as ringing in the new year with a wine and cheese party on Thursday afternoon.

We would like to thank all of you who have given of your time and talents over the past year, and we hope that we will have your continued support in 2010.
