After checking his web site, we find that Daniel Seddipui is already quite a celebrity since he started his trip of having 50 jobs in 50 states in 50 weeks.

The 26-year-old Daniel Seddiqui has a bachelor of languages, arts and sciences in economics degree from the University of Southern California but had no luck finding a job in his chosen profession. He stated that he had at least 2000 rejections.

Instead of giving up, he came up with about as creative a solution as I’ve heard.

“I’ve created my own job, for at least for 50 weeks. After I finish the trip, I plan to write a book about ‘Living the Map.’ I’ve already had some good job offers.” Seddipui stated.

Coach Israel said, “Anytime you are presented with an award such as this it is an honor. I assure you that I am very honored because this was voted on by my fellow coaches, only. This also proves that your record doesn’t necessarily reflect the job you did as a coach.”

Things in Colquitt will become “curiouser and curiouser” this summer. Cotton Hall Theater will be filled with wacky Wonderlanders the last weekend of June. Audiences will wonder how they found themselves amidst such crazy characters, including a riddle-filled caterpillar, giant talking flowers, and even a creepy and colorful Cheshire cat.

Having previously staged Peter Pan, Bridge to Terabithia, Willy Wonka, and his very own script Christmastime at the Circus Marvello, Murdock thinks that Alice in Wonderland will be his most whimsical show yet.

“Down at the Depot” is now underway. It is being painted on the side of the old Fudge building on the corner of Cuthbert Street. Chris Moore with MooreArt Studios in Hampton has been contracted by the arts council to design and paint this mural. The actual painting of the mural began on Tuesday, June 16, and will take approximately six to eight weeks, depending on the weather, to complete.
