LIBRARY NEWS
A new year has begun, and it is time for those New Year’s Resolutions. Make a resolution to visit your library. In addition to many great books, you can find that movie you’ve wanted to see on DVD, a book on CD to listen to in your car on your way to work, music by your favorite artists, and so much more. You can even check out a computer to type up your report using Microsoft Office 2007. Also, you can use the Internet to search for information or send an e-mail to that special person. Furthermore, you can bring your children to attend a fantastic program at the library. If it has been awhile since you have visited your Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library, I invite to discover the wealth of information available right around the corner in your hometown.
Have you thought about getting a new pet for your family, but not sure how to take care of it? Look to your Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library for a wealth of information on how to take care of all kinds of pets, including cats, dogs, frogs, and even chameleons! Browse through materials such as Caring for Your Dog by June Preszler or Care for a Pet Chameleon by Jim Whiting. These books, along with many others, provide guidance for new pet owners and include helpful tips for those who already have pets in their home.
