Nursing Home News

Santa and Mrs. Claus visit Miller Nursing Home residents. Santa and Mrs. Claus visit Miller Nursing Home residents. There are so many people I would like to thank for all the kindness that has been shown to our residents at Miller Nursing Home over this Christmas season.

Thank you to The Posie Patch and Blooming Business for decorating two of our trees for us. The residents have enjoyed them so much.

Thank you to everyone who adopted a resident for Christmas. When you watch them open their gifts, it is almost like looking through the eyes of a child once more, and we all know how precious that time is for children.

For Santa and his helpers at the Christmas party, things could not have been any better; the dancing was wonderful. As you can see in the picture, the residents, Santa and his helpers had a great time.

Those of you who gave money, I dare not start to name names for I may leave someone out, but this was greatly appreciated. All of you who came to visit made the holidays so good.

I do want to say a very big thank you to Mrs. Jane Wiggins. There are so many things you do for us, not only during the holidays but throughout the year, that thank you does not seem to be enough. For the time you give, the goodies you bake, and the prizes you buy, you will never know how thankful we are.

We are starting to plan our upcoming year, and if there are any of you who are wanting to come and take part in our activities, I would ask that you call so that we can set up a time, 758-4235.

We are still looking for pets to visit and for some bingo players. We also have a group of residents who like playing cards. If you like playing cards and would like to have some good competition, come on by.
