Mrs. Vivian C. Levatte, age 87, of Colquitt died Sunday, December 6, 2009.

Mrs. Levatte was born on October 2, 1922, in Damascus to the late Lon and Leeona Cratic. She attended school in Early County and was a member of Salem Free Will Baptist Church where she served in the choir, the usher board and as Mother of the Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #271.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Free Will Baptist Church in Damascus with Rev. A.M. Crews officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were her nephews and great-nephews.

Survivors include four sons; seven daughters, 15 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Community Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
