Mrs. Ada Mae Conyers, age 80, of Donalsonville, died Friday, December 18, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts and Rev. Johnny Shepard officiating. Interment followed in the Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Thursby, Joe Thursby, Andy Jones, David Conyers, Dicky Lay, and Gene Burke.

Mrs. Conyers was born in Donalsonville on September 29, 1929, to the late Edd and Ellen Hatton Burke. She was a member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, M.J. Conyers, Donalsonville; three sons, Joseph (Pat) Conyers, Bainbridge, William (Roxie) Elliot Conyers, Cheyenne, WY, Harry (Jeannie) Conyers; daughter, Dorothy (William) Jones, Prattville, AL; sister, Rose Donalson, Bainbridge, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
