Billy Bush, age 78, of Brinson passed away Friday, December 11, 2009, at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating. Interment followed at Brinson Cemetery. Full military honors were provided by the U. S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Billy was born March 24, 1931, in Belle Glade, FL, the son of John Henry Bush and Nettie Kirkland Bush. He was a graduate of Brinson High School, Class of 1950. After serving in the U. S. Army in the Korean War, he joined the U. S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a tech sergeant with 21 years of service. He attended Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Elise B. Gill of Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
