Ms. Sadie Adkins of Strawberry Plains, TN, formerly of Colquitt, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in Fort Sanders Hospital in Sevierville, TN.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Black officiating.

Interment followed in the Oakview Church of God Cemetery in Donalsonville.

Ms. Adkins was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.

She was survived by two sons, Wade Adkins, Jacksonville, FL, and Wayne Adkins, Polk City FL; five daughters, Mary Pope, Roanoke, AL, Eva Carter, Ann Jordanio, both of Tampa, FL; Sandra Inman, Strawberry Plains, TN, Kathy Cook, Colquitt; one sister, Lois Myers, Colquitt; 30 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
