Nursing Home News

by Suzanne Griffin

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Miller Nursing Home. I would like to thank “Posie Patch” and “Blooming Business” for their help in getting our trees decorated. Also thank you to everyone who has taken part in adopting a Resident for Christmas. We are all very excited and are looking forward to seeing Santa. There are still a few names left so if you are interested in being part of this please give me a call at 758-4235.

We have had a busy week this past week. We enjoyed everyone that participated in last weeks activities and we look forward to the activities for this week.

Sunday morning we started our week off with Sunday School with Mr. Glen Sheffield, and members from Bellview FWB Church came to share with us on Sunday afternoon.

Monday through Friday mornings do not be sup prized if you come by and see us on the porch having our “fit and fun.” We have a good time getting our mussels moving to the music in the mornings.

We had our regular bingo games on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and there is always a little competition with this.

Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed having coffee shop. With the weather getting a little cooler this is a good time to sit around and fellowship with each other, and never be sup prized to see a card game going on.

We enjoyed having the public library with us on Friday afternoon and Joyce Grant Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited over the past week and we look forward to seeing all of you during the holidays.
