Miller County HOSA Celebrates HOSA Week
The Miller County High School HOSA students celebrated HOSA week by honoring the retired teachers with a Subway luncheon and cheesecakes, which were donated by Mrs. Linda Trammell. The luncheon was held in the collaborative building with Miss Leigh Thompson as the guest speaker. A fall theme was used to decorate the inside of the building in honor of the event. Miller County High/Mid- dle School also honored National HOSA Week by placing the announcement on the school marquee for the community to see.
HOSA students decorated take-home cups of hot chocolate for faculty and staff of the school. The cups were colorfully decorated and held packets of hot chocolate, a spoon, and a card that stated “Warm Up With HOSA.” Senior HOSA members also designed informative brochures about HOSA and various health care career options for students. They also included college education required, average salary, and the expected job growth of these careers.
Miller County HOSA would like to thank the community for their support in honoring National HOSA Week at Miller County Schools.
