Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Henley Tabb, age 95, of Colquitt died Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Miller Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Mock and Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment followed in the Colquitt City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Todd Tabb, Kevin Tabb, Stevie Tabb, Joel Chappel, Tabb Connor, and Bryan Connor.

She was a retired beautician and a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Tom (Betty) Tabb, Kinston, N.C., and Owen (Karen) Tabb, Colquitt; six grandchildren, Teri (Brian) Connor, Holly (Chris) Allain, Kellie (Joel) Chappell, Dr. Todd (Melissa) Tabb, Stevie (Donna) Tabb, and Kevin (Charity) Tabb; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. E. (Rusty) Tabb; her parents, Jim and Molly Henley; six sisters, Ruby Johnson, Kitty Bush, Molly Clenney, Emma Shields, Grace Burke, and Lillie Grimes; and two brothers, Arthur Henley and Emmitt Henley.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
