Karen Riffle and James Mason Together with their families, Karen Juanita Riffle and James Gregory Mason are happy to announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Virginia Riffle and the late Junior "Shorty" Riffle of Bainbridge.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Riffle of Buchannon, West Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCutcheon of Mabscott, West Virginia.

She is attending Bain- bridge College, where she is seeking a degree in early childhood.

The groom-elect is the son of James "Bookie" Mason of Bainbridge and Sue Reckner of Colquitt.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James M. Mason and the late Mr. and Mrs. James "Bud" Darley of Colquitt.

He is a self-employed contractor.

The wedding and reception will take place on December 19, 2009, at their home in Bainbridge.
