Jeffrey Adam Ross and Jennifer Nicole Carr Dr. and Mrs. Michael R. Carr Sr. announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Nicole, to Jeffrey Adam Ross. The wedding will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville. No local invitations will be sent; all friends and family are invited to attend. A reception will follow at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center at Bainbridge College.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Joe and Ilene McGowan and Ouida Carr and the late Hugh E. Carr, all of Donalsonville. Following high school graduation from Southwest Georgia Academy, Miss Carr earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Samford University and a master’s degree in physician's assistant from Methodist University in North Carolina.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel E. Ross Sr. of Donalsonville. He is the grandson of the late Brough- ton and LaVerne Bush, and the late Leamon and Christine E. Ross, all of Donalsonville. A graduate of Seminole County High School, he attended Darton College where he received an associate degree in nursing. He also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Albany State University and is currently employed at Bainbridge College as an instructor of nursing in the associate degree nursing program, as well as parttime weekend supervisor at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.
