Mrs. Shirley Ann Evans, age 60, of Blakely died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

A memorial service was held Monday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Dr. Carl Marshall officiating.

Mrs. Evans was a dietician supervisor at the RYDC in Blakely.

She is survived by one daughter, Rachel (Stanley) Houston, Colquitt; three grandchildren, Amber Houston, Kittie DePriest, and Stan Houston; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Mitcham, Blakely; two brothers, Delano Evans and Sterling Evans, Blakely; and several nieces and nephews.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
