Another competition done and conquered. Colt Calhoun, Eric Whatley, Robert Eldridge, and Daniel Allen made their way to Ocilla, September 29 to compete in Wildlife Management. Through all the things they did know and all the things they guessed on, the boys came through it with flying colors, placing second in the competition.

Eric Whatley competed in the Whitetail Deer Management portion of the test. Robert Eldridge performed the Boating and Regulations part of the test. Colt Calhoun took on the Wild Turkey Management. Finally, Daniel Allen stomped the competition at General Identification. The boys will be headed to state competition on November 5, 2009. Good job, boys, bring it on home.

Now on to other news, we are still encouraging students to attend the Moultrie Expo on October 20. Students must have paid their $10 FFA dues, sold five chicken-que tickets or pay $5 to ride the bus; they also have to turn in their signed permission slip form to Mr. Bill by October 6. No forms or money for Expo will be accepted after this date.
Catch ya next week,
