FFA Exhibitor Competes at the Georgia Young Farmers Cattle Show and Henry Co. Invitational Cattle Show

Will Henry shown with his heifer Will Henry shown with his heifer On August 14 and 15, Will Henry exhibited his September born Angus heifer, "Lucky", at the Georgia Young Farmers Cattle Show in Perry. Will was outstanding in his showmanship class, placing fifth among all ninth grade exhibitors.

He also placed third in his breed class among all September born Angus heifers entered in the show. On September 11 and 12, Will competed in the Henry County Invitational Cattle Show held in Headland, AL. Will placed third in both showmanship and in the September Angus breed class with his heifer.

Will is the 14-year-old son of Bruce and Debbie Henry of Colquitt and is a member of the Miller County High School FFA.

Other exhibitors who will be joining Will to participate in other upcoming shows this year are Preston Clenney, Garison Clenney, Tyner Cobb, Brianna Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, and Sydney Thomas.

These exhibitors will be showing a combined total of eight heifers and two steers this year. Some of them will be competing in the upcoming Georgia National Fair Cattle Show which will be held in Perry on October 8 -10.
