Myrlene Brown Dunlap, age 80, of Colquitt died Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Miller County Hospital.

Mrs. Dunlap was born in Miller County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eldorendo Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Eldorendo Baptist Church. Interment followed at the Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Franklin, Gerald Cook, Irving Widner, Glen Sheffield, Kenneth Dunlap, and Keith Dunlap. Honorary pallbearers were Bud Brown and William (Bubba) Dunlap.

Survivors include her husband, Dorsey Lee Dunlap, Colquitt; two sons, Lynwood (Sue) Dunlap, Colquitt, and Daryl (Patricia) Dunlap, Donalsonville; two daughters, Sandra (Regie) Braddock, Memphis, TN, Gayle (Leon) Widner, Colquitt; two brothers, Ed Brown and Don Brown, both of Colquitt; two sisters, Eloise Holt and Carolyn Meredith, both of Colquitt; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dunlap was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
