Mr. Earnest T. Williams, age 84, of Colquitt died Tuesday, September 1, 2009.

Mr. Williams was born February 22, 1925, to the late Mattie Bell and Joe Williams. He joined Beulah A.M.E. Church at an early age. He spent his last few years at Miller Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 5, at 12:00 p.m. at Beulah A.M.E. Church with Rev. Edward Williams officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Graves, Tampa, FL; two sisters, Annette Hays and Margie Williams, Colquitt; one brother, Ben Williams, Colquitt; two granddaughters, Rhonda Rene Perkins and Bridget Thomkins, Atlanta; one great-granddaughter, Ella K. Perkins; and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Williams' Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
