Harveys Supermarkets Set to Unveil Renovated Bainbridge Store

Harveys Supermarkets unveiled its newly remodeled store in Bainbridge on Wed., September 2. The store, located at 1615 East Shotwell Street, underwent renovations for a number of months.

The newly redesigned store features updated décor, floors and fixtures throughout the store, as well as a brand new deli/ bakery featuring a hot bar, baked goods, pastries and fresh garlic bread. The grocery aisles have been lengthened to accommodate an expanded product selection and store has added seven new jobs.

"We are looking forward to serving our customers better with this upgraded store featuring new displays and new departments," said Lisa Overman, brand manager. "Our goal is to provide exceptional customer care and having a refreshed store enables the Harveys team to welcome our family, friends and neighbors into their hometown Harveys grocery store."

The store will continue to offer a large meat department featuring fresh beef, pork, poultry and seafood, as well as a wide selection of grocery, frozen food and dairy items.

To celebrate the completion of the remodeling project, the store hosted a radio remote on Saturday, September 5, with giveaways, product sampling and a visit from the Georgia Watermelon Queen, Lindsey Marie Mann from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The store manager at the remodeled store is James Woodard. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday- Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. The phone number at the store is 229- 248-0832.
