Beginning with the opening kickoff, the game was exciting as senior RB Nile Knapp took the kick 91 yards to the end-zone. This would only just begin Knapp's stellar performance for the night. He finished the night with 12 carries for 259 yards rushing with touchdown runs of 12, 60, 56, 57, and 40 yards. Fellow Senior FB Weston Lee tallied up 57 yards on six carries with a pair of touchdown runs of 4 and 38 yards. Senior QB Andrew Stone also had three carries for 33 yards. The Warriors' offense looked to be running on all cylinders Thursday night. They compiled seven scoring drives that consisted of five plays or less. The longest drive of the night for the Warriors only consisted of six plays which ended with a botched punt that set up one of Westwood's touchdowns. The Warriors ended the night with over 500 all purpose yards. This offensive explosion ended up putting excessive of pressure on the Warriors' defense.

The Warriors held a scrappy Westwood offense to 32 points. The Westwood running and throwing combo of Edore and Worsham will give teams trouble this season. The Warriors had five interceptions (2 Taylor Tabb, 2 Cody Buckhalter, 1 Ethan Cody) which according to the coaching staff has not happened in many years. The Warriors have lots of speed on defense this season and with some technique work will give opponents fits. By the end of the night, the speed, size, and strength of the Warriors overpowered their longtime rivals from Camilla.

Both teams played hard and hustled every play. The Warriors host the Randolph Southern Patriots next Friday night in Damascus.
