Emma Grace Donley Emma Grace Donley celebrated her first birthday Saturday, August 15.

The cupcake theme party was held in the backyard at her home on Privett Store Road.

Tables with multi-colored cloths were set up under two white tents. Each table held a balloon tree. Decorating the yard also was a large balloon arch and two balloon columns with a balloon shaped cupcake on top of each column. Two brightly colored swimming pools held birthday ducks that the children enjoyed playing with. An inflatable bouncer with balls, a birthday gift to Emma Grace, was also enjoyed by the kids.

The birthday girl had lots of fun watching the older kids play. However, the most fun for her was eating her cake, which was a two-tiered cake with an over-sized cupcake on top of it. The cake was decorated to match her party theme.

On Wednesday, August 19, Emma Grace's real birthday, she enjoyed another small cake with her favorite TV character on it, Dora. She also received a large stuffed Dora doll from her "Bubbles," on her first birthday.

Emma Grace is the daughter of Brian and Wendi Donley. She is the granddaughter of Steve and Wanda Griffin and Hoyt and Cheryl Donley.

Her great-grandmothers are Betty Lou Jackson, Vada Griffin and Ruth Donley.
