Bainbridge - A cyclist was killed in a crash with a moving trailer on Scott Street Saturday afternoon. The cyclist was identified as 62-year-old Thomas Rozycki of 1103 E. Evans Street.

One witness to the crash told us she saw the bicycle speeding down Evans Street. As he approached Scott Street, she said to herself "I sure hope he's going to stop," but he didn't.

The crash happened directly in front of James Pollock traveling north on Scott Street.

Pollock stated that the cyclist never slowed down entering Scott Street and crashed into a trailer being pulled by Jason Barlow, an off-duty Public Safety officer.

Mr. Pollock believes that Rozycki thought he was going to be able to go between his truck and the SUV but did not see the trailer being pulled by the SUV.

Mr. Rozycki crashed into the trailer and flew off his bicycle, flipped, and struck the ground very hard.

Witnesses stated he had obvious head wounds, and we understand internal injuries was his prime cause of death. Public Safety Officer Beau Harrell worked the crash.

Blakely - Two men were arrested in Arling- ton last week within an hour after they allegedly robbed the Arlington Post Office on Pioneer Road and fled on a stolen four-wheeler.

The two men, one armed with a handgun, jumped over the post office counter about 3 p.m. Wednesday, grabbed the cash drawer and fled, jumping on the fourwheeler. Only one postal clerk was on duty at the time of the robbery.

The pair wrecked the four-wheeler on Azalea Street about a half mile from the post office and fled through the woods on foot before getting into a vehicle.

Anthony Williams and Jemychal Salter, both 19, were arrested a short time after a Georgia State Patrol stopped the vehicle on Highway 62. A third man, Marcus Hayes, 22, was arrested by sheriff's deputies Thursday afternoon.

Authorities recovered approximately $600 which had been buried following the robbery. They also found the .380 semi-automatic handgun used in the robbery at the site of the four-wheeler crash.

The suspects have been charged with robbery. Additional charges, including federal charges and theft of the fourwheeler, were expected.
