Mr. Allen Dean Chancey, age 48, of Donalsonville passed away Monday, August 10, 2009, at his residence.

A memorial service was held on Friday, August 14, at 3:00 P.M. at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Dudley H. Chancey Jr. officiating.

Mr. Chancey was born in Savannah on March 20, 1961, to the late Dudley H. Chancey Sr. and Lois B. Williams Chancey.

He is survived by three sisters, Libby Robinson (Johnny), Donalsonville, Debbie Cook (Roy), Colquitt, and Carole McFee (Matt), Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Dr. Dudley H. Chancey, Jr. (Vicki), Edmond, OK, and David Wayne Chancey, Napier Field, AL; a special friend, Bill Langley of Tallahassee, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley H. Chancey Sr. and Lois B. Williams Chancey.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
