Mrs. Catherine Parker McCullers, 80, of Bainbridge passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Perry Hospital in Perry.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating.

Mrs. McCullers was born January 16, 1929, in Decatur County, the daughter of Jake Perry Parker and Nellie Elizabeth Ward Parker. She was a graduate of Pine Hill High School, a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. McCullers, and a granddaughter, Summer Gleaton.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth M. (Farley) Stewart, Opelika, AL, Judy M. (David) Carlisle, Perry, Gloria M. (Jerry) Davis, Bainbridge; son, Edwin (Linda) McCullers, Bainbridge; six grandchildren, Cathy Wiggins, Susan Pecci, Jay Gleaton, Jeff Gleaton, Becky Guest, and Mary Ann Parsons; and 14 great-grandchildren, Tamra Wiggins, Josey Wiggins, Stewart Wiggins, Catherine Wiggins, Grace Pecci, Annie Pecci, Lora Beth Pecci, Chase Gleaton, Mitchell Gleaton, Stevie Burnette, Emma Gleaton, Kaitlyn Cole, Jackson Guest, and Haley Parsons.
