Battery

On July 25, Crystal Lynn Cross came to her residence to pick up her 14-year-old son, who had spent the night with Virginia Cox. Cross stated that Cross got into a verbal altercation, which was about to get physical. Cox stated that Cross was using a lot of profanity toward her son inside the residence and that she thinks Cross had been using drugs. Cox stated that she wished to press charges. As of time of report, Cross has not been located.

Damage to Property

On July 25, Randall Renfoe advised that he came outside to where his van was parked and that his tires were flat on the van. Renfoe also observed that the tires on his other van were flat as well. The tires had all been stabbed with a knife. Renfoe was advised that extra patrol would be conducted in his area and that attempts would be made to solve the case.

Suspended License

On July 20, William Thomas Lindo Jr. was traveling at 86 miles per hour in a posted 55 miles per hour zone. Lindo was stopped just inside the City of Colquitt. Lindo advised he did know why he was being stopped and gave his driver's license upon request. While issuing a citation for speeding, a license check was made on Lindo. Lindo's license returned as being suspended for a non judgmental suspension out of Florida. Lindo was arrested at this time. Lindo' vehicle and two children were turned over to Lisa Huntley. Lindo was transported to the Miller County Jail and booked for Driving While License Suspended and Speeding.

DUI

On July 24, Rhonda Renee Jones was administered chemical test of her breath. The results of the test indicated that Jones had a blood alcohol content. Jones was then charged with driving under the influence second offense, and turned over to Detention Officer Marlin Jones at that time.
