MCAE has 14 graduates

Fourteen Miller County Adult Education students have completed the requirements necessary to receive their GED diplomas. They are Jonathan Simmons, Joseph Stolze, Josh Chambliss, Lorenzo Baker, Precious Cox, Devario Shuler, Garnie Perkins, Esther Ruth Ebersole, Mary Lois Ebersole, Brittany Hoskins, Levi Sheffield, Niki Favors, Kristy Lee, and Morgan Jackson.

MCAE graduates will be eligible to participate in the GED Graduation Ceremony along with students from adult education classes in Decatur, Early, and Seminole Counties. The ceremony will be held at the Kirbo Center at Bainbridge College on Thursday, July 16, at 7:00 p.m.

The Miller County Adult Learning Center is currently closed for summer break. When classes resume in August, we will be located in the current high school building in the health occupations classroom. Classes will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-12:00. The program is individualized to meet the needs of students. Students must attend a minimum of six hours per week.
