CHRISTINE WILLIAMS KING

Mrs. Christine Williams King, age 92, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Miller County Nursing Home.

Mrs. King was born in Eufaula, AL, on November 6, 1916, to the late Benjamin and Martha Lord Williams. She was the oldest living member of Springfield Baptist Church, having become a member in 1944.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Roberts and Rev. Fred Odom officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Easom, Donald Hand, Rick Easom, Greg Easom, Stephen Dunning, and Ronald Bruner.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat Easom Johnson, Donalsonville; one sister, Eudene Bowen, Donalsonville; two grandchildren, Russ Johnson and Bret Johnson, both of Donalsonville.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
