Nursing Home News
We enjoyed a week packed with activities this past week. Sunday morning Mr. Charles Thorne gave our Sunday School lesson and members from Kimbrel's Chapel were here Sunday afternoon.
Monday morning we started off with Bible study given by Ms. Mae Adkins. Monday afternoon we had something new. Mr. Don Lambert from the "Drum Circle" came to let the residents try their hand with playing the drum. Residents enjoyed this time. Monday evening members from Mt. Zion Fellowship came to visit everyone.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings we played bingo. On Tuesday afternoon we had "Down on the Farm." This gave residents time to share their experiences they had in years past working on their farms or working with others on the farm. It is amazing to know just how far we have come in farming technology. Tuesday evening we had a special group of men who came to share some good blue grass music.
Wednesday morning members from Colquitt First Baptist came to give our Bible study, and that afternoon we enjoyed good summer time lemonade.
Thursday afternoon we enjoyed looking back at our past summer time fun.
Bro. Mike and Sandy Mounts came on Friday morning, and we all enjoyed singing and sharing with one another. Friday afternoon we had our library time.
Saturday we enjoyed having Joyce Grant spending time with us.
As always, we thank all of you for taking time out to come and visit with us, and we welcome each of you to come again.
