Mr. Willie C. Bush Sr., age 87, of Colquitt died May 20, 2009, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Bush was born September 20, 1921, in Miller County to the late James C. Bush and Emma Davis-Bush. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Lou Gene Bush officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bobby Roberts, Jackie Roberts, Ruben Anderson, Charles Roberts, Billy Roberts, and Eddie C. Stubbs.

Survivors include his wife, Jemima Stubbs Bush, Colquitt; three daughters, Willie Maxine Bush Bridley, Georgia Mae Bush Jaye, Emma Bush Williams (Robert); five sons, Jimmy Lee (Rochelle) Bush, the Rev. James C. (Kim) Bush, Willie C. (Roslyn) Bush Jr., Clifton (Annie) Bush, the Rev. Lou Gene (Mamie) Bush; one sister, Dollie Mae Bush Roberts; several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-inlaw, and many caring family and friends.

Williams' Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
