BOBBY JOE ROATEN
Mr. Bobby Joe Roaten, age 65, of Iron City died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Roaten was born in Dell, Arkansas, on October 15, 1943, to the late John and Gillie Ann Arnold Roaten. He was employed by Donalsonville Motor Company and was a member of the Seminole Group of AA. He was a member of New Hope Worship Assembly of Donalsonville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Worship Assembly in Donalsonville with Rev. Charles Barineau officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Cemetery in Iron City.
Pallbearers were Chris Miller, Steve Wells, Gene Daniels, Don Cofty, Buddy Roberts, and Charles Musgrove.
Survivors include two sons, Steve (Dori) Roaten, Ruskin, FL, and Joseph (Carol), Dawson; daughter, Kim (Cotton) Chance, Iron City; one brother, Charles Roaten, Ruskin FL; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
