Residents enjoyed this past week as we all got ready for Easter.

Sunday morning we enjoyed having Mr. Charles Thorne for Sunday School, and that afternoon members from New Salem came to share with us.

Monday morning Ms. Mae Adkins came to give our Bible study. Monday afternoon we enjoyed making an Easter Bunny to go on our doors. ,That evening Mt. Zion Fellowship came to share with all of the residents.

Tuesday morning we had the first of many bingo games for the week. Mrs. Jane Wiggins came to read from "The Box Car Children" that afternoon.

Wednesday morning members from Colquitt First Baptist came for church services. Wednesday afternoon we had a special treat. Several staff members had made Easter baskets to be given away as bingo prizes. There were ten lucky winners of loaded baskets. Thanks to everyone who made a basket for us.

Thursday morning was bingo time again. Thursday afternoon residents enjoyed coloring eggs for the egg hunt on Friday. Each one took his or her time in order to make that perfect egg for the children to find.

Friday was a big day. We started it off with an egg hunt. The children from Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church and some of the residents' family members came out for the hunt. It is not so easy for us to hunt the eggs any more, but we all enjoyed watching the kids. Friday afternoon we enjoyed having our own Easter party. The ladies in the kitchen had mad an Easter cake decorated with grass and eggs all over it. We also had chips, dip and punch. Everyone had a good time.

Saturday "The Blessed" came to sing for us, and we enjoyed having our family and friends visiting.

It was a very busy week, but we enjoyed all the fun and enjoyed having everyone visiting.
