Dealing With the Snake Problem'

      Snake! Just hearing the word is enough to send waves of fear down the spines of some. Though not quite that extreme, I have no use for snakes. I understand that most of them are harmless, and I am told that some of them are helpful, but that does not increase my desire to be around them.

Saved by the Grace of God
      I was talking to a preacher the other day and got around to talking about our times and what's to come. The preacher said, "If we weren't living under His grace, we would really be in a mess. If He wasn't interceding for us with God the Father, we would be in a bigger mess.

Some broccoli

      When we bought our first house, I rototilled a plot and planted a garden. Saturday morning at the farmers' market, I bought various vegetable sets including broccoli, which we really like. After I placed the vegetables in rows in the ground, I had one broccoli plant left. I put it in at the back of the plot. My garden thrived except for that broccoli at the back.
