Mrs. Betty Ann Chambless, age 70, of Colquitt died Friday, March 27, 2009, at Miller County Hospital.

Mrs. Chambless was born May 10, 1938, in Miller County. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Buren Womble officiating. Interment followed in Eldorendo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Vanessa (Chris) Moore, Colquitt; three sons, Robert Chambless, Fairhope, AL, Larry Chambless, Albany, Chris (Kim) Chambless, Colquitt; six grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Chambless.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
