JULIA ANN PICKLE

 
Mrs. Julia Ann Pickle of Donalsonville, formerly of Colquitt, died Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Pickle was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 3, at 3:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Talmadge Worsley and Rev. Royce Williams officiating. Interment followed in Pickle Cemetery in Early County.

Pallbearers were Tim Marshall, Andy Cross, Travis Pickle, Joey Pickle, Tony Pickle and Keith Pickle.

She is survived by four daughters, Glenda Lane of Tifton, Patsy Lane of Blakely, Sue Phillips of Damascus, and Alice Warren of Colquitt; five sons, Herman Pickle and Royce Pickle, Colquitt, Ferrell Pickle, Tuck Pickle, Albany, Harold Pickle, Blakely; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Pickle, and a granddaughter, Sharon Cross.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
