Charles Grant and a friend at a previous Kid's Day Out On March 14, 2009, New Orleans Saints Star Charles Grant and the Charles Grant S.A.C.K. Success Foundation will host Kids Day Out in Grant's hometown of Colquitt.
This event, co-hosted by Grant's mother Theresa Warren, brings children from Colquitt and the surrounding areas together for giveaways, activities, and food free of charge. The youth also have a chance to meet a number of NFL stars.
For the sixth year in a row, Grant's S.A.C.K. Success Foundation will invite children from the area to enjoy inflatables, rides, and sports activities as well as food and giveaways.
Grant sees the event as a great opportunity to give back to his hometown community.
"My community has given so much to me, and I want to give something back," stated Grant, defensive end for the New Orleans Saints. "This day gives me the opportunity to reach out to the kids in my community and shows them that they are capable of anything through hard work and dedication." This event is also held in memory of Grant's late brother, Reneldo Grant.
