Nursing Home News
First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped with activi- ties last week while I was out. You will never know how much it means to me to have people I can count on when I need them.
Last week like all weeks was a busy time around the Nursby ing Home. On Sunday, Mr. Charles Thorne came to give our Sunday School lesson, and Colquitt United Methodist came to share that afternoon.
On Monday morning Mr. Bob Roberts gave our Bible study, and that afternoon we had bean bag toss.
Tuesday and Thursday morning we had bingo. On Tuesday afternoon the ladies enjoyed having their finger nails painted in preparation for the birthday party on Wednesday.
Wednesday morning First Baptist Church came to have our church services. On Wednesday afternoon, Cook's Union was the host church for this month's birthday party.
We have 10 residents celebrating a birthday this month.
"Miss" Jane Wiggins came to read for the residents on Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning James Judkins came to give our Bible study. That afternoon we had a time of exercising.
Saturday we enjoyed our families and friends visiting. As always, we encourage each of you to take out time to come and see us.
