BC Associate Degree in nursing accreditation process to involve the public
The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Bainbridge College (BC) will host three representatives from the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) Feb. 17-19 on Main Campus as part of the initial accreditation process.
Community members are invited to the public meeting about accreditation at 3 p.m. Feb. 18 in the auditorium of the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center on Main Campus. Representatives of both NLNAC and the ADN program will answer questions and respond to comments.
NLNAC accreditation is voluntary. The complex peer review process is designed to enhance quality in nursing education. Preparation for the accreditation process included a self study report, which was completed by the BC ADN director, faculty and staff and took 18 months to complete.
For additional information about the accreditation process or the Associate Degree in Nursing program at Bainbridge College, contact ADN Program Director Faith Garrett at 229-243- 6485.
