Mr. John G. "Jerry" Dunlap of Colquitt died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Dunlap was born May 28, 1941, in Daytona, FL. He served his country in the US Army and was a retired minister, businessman and a farmer. He also served as a missionary to Israel for four years. He was a caregiver for Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Smith for 18 years and was a member of The Word Say Ministry.

Survivors include his wife, Toni Dunlap, Colquitt; mother, Mary Elizabeth Sculley Dunlap; two daughters, Jackie D. (Brantley) Broome, Donalsonville, and Wendy D. Stone, Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Joel Dunlap, Athens,and Jimmy Dunlap, Ochlocknee; one sister, Dixie Westerland, Victoria, VA; three grandchildren, Annette Broome, Dylan Broome, and Garrett Emore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Earnest Dunlap.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
