Nursing Home News
The residents stayed very busy with activities last week.
Sunday, Mr. Charles came and had Sunday School for the morning, and South Mt. Zion came that afternoon.
Mr. Bob Roberts came for Bible Study Monday morning, and we played "What's That Sound?" Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, we played bingo, and Tuesday afternoon we had ladies club, so they could be ready for the birthday party on Wednesday.
Members from First Baptist came to give our church service on Wednesday morning. That afternoon Mother's Home FWB hosted our January birthday party. We all enjoyed cake, ice cream, cheese curls and punch at the party. There are six residents celebrating a birthday this month. Each of them received a special gift from members of Mother's Home.
Thursday afternoon we had bean bag toss.
On Friday morning, Miss Gayle Grimsley came to sing for us, and that afternoon we had a "Pooh Party." We enjoyed hot biscuits and honey while watching Winnie the Pooh.
We enjoyed having our families for Family Day, along with Scott Messer coming and sharing with us on Saturday. As always we would like to thank each of you that have come to visit and we look forward to seeing each of you again.
