Miller County E911 was called Monday morning, January 26, to report a vehicle had overturned on SR 39, near Bridges Road just north of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church. Bainbridge- A Highway 27 north crash flung a man from his truck and sent him tumbling down the highway on Wednesday afternoon. Bradley Williams was pulling out of Rathel's on Highway 27 north. He failed to see the oncoming truck driven by Bobby Barber. Barber's truck struck Williams' F-150 at his door, and the truck was flung around almost 360 degrees. More...

Mr. Jack Williams, age 80, of Panama City Beach, FL, and formerly of Iron City, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born in Iron City on September 18, 1928.
