Mrs. Jewell Miller of Colquitt died Friday, January 16, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Benjamin Miller and Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. Interment followed at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City.

Pallbearers were Greg Houston, Ricky Smith, Mike Miller, Mark Miller, Adrian Lovering, and Kevin Lovering.

Mrs. Miller was a supervisor at a sewing factory and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.

She is survived by one son, Lamar (Ruth) Miller of Colquitt; two daughters, Barbara (Richard) Brutus of Safety Harbor, FL, and Jewella Lovering of Colquitt; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller; one daughter, Juanita Houston, and one grandson, Terry Houston.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
