Mrs. Helen Lane Shrader, 87, of Bainbridge passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Burrell and Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment followed at Cairo Cemetery.

John Fudge, Curt Fudge, Sadi Hasona, James Fudge and Greg Player served as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Shrader was born July 26, 1921, in Cairo, the daughter of Perry Manning Baggett and Pearl Collins Baggett. She was a graduate of Cairo High School, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She worked for many years in the family business, Lane's Pharmacy, with her late husband, John H. Lane.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Wallace G. Shrader of Bainbridge; daughters, Mary L. Fudge (James) Fudge, Colquitt, Nora L. Knowles (David), Gulfport, MS; son, Sadi Hasona of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Player, Curt Fudge, John Fudge, David Fudge, Courtney Knowles, Michael Knowles, Hema Hasona Nour Hasona; and four great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
