Ed bush

Ed Bush, age 81, of Donalsonville passed away May 6, 2008, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 8, at 3:00 p.m. at Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Dr. Gary Smith and Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Burial followed at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt.

Mr. Bush was born in Miller County on May 6, 1927, to the late George Washington and Lula Ruth Mock Bush. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was owner/operator of Ed's Pool Room. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jimmy M. Bush; two sons, Larry Wayne Bush and his wife Norma and Donald Allen Bush and his wife Julie; one daughter Janice Bush Jones and her husband Bob, all of Donalsonville; one sister, Mable Easom and her husband Robert of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He was also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Lula Ruth Mock Bush; three brothers, Melvin Bush, Doc Bush, and Leon Bush; and one sister, Sybil Chambers.

Pallbearers were Shane Cox, Shane Brown, Richard Adams, Kolby Bush, Chris Bush and Greg Easom.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
