Singleton, Brinson to wed

Ms. Donna Singleton of Colquitt and Mr. Don Singleton of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Dianne Singleton, to Michael Scott Brinson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Singleton of Climax and Ms. Helen Griffin of Colquitt and the late Glover "Roach" Middleton of Colquitt.
Lauren is a 2004 honor graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy, and a 2008 honor graduate of Valdosta State University, where she received a degree in marketing.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Brinson of Bainbridge. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Miller Stevens of Thomasville and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brinson of Cairo.
Scott is a 1999 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2004 graduate of Valdosta State University where he received a degree in criminal justice. He is employed with Abbott Pharmaceuticals in Valdosta.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Brinson. The reception will be held at the Bainbridge Country Club.
Friends and family of the couple are cordially invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
