National Volunteer Week celebrated

The Miller County Hospital and Nursing Home celebrated National Volunteer Week by hosting a luncheon for the volunteers. The luncheon was held at the Tarrer Inn on Wednesday, April 30.
The volunteers enjoyed a delicious meal and received a gift of appreciation for their services.
The hospital and nursing home employees that attended were Shawn Whittaker, DON; Marilee White, CEO secretary; Amy Miller, RN; Suzanne Griffin, activity director; and Cherry Price, activity assistant.
Volunteers attending the luncheon were Doris Grant, volunteer coordinator; Eloise Perkins, secretary and reporter; Ann Wade, Nan DeFlor, Bobby and Sue Roberts, Jane Wiggins, and Willie and Candice Miller. Volunteers unable to attend were Linnie Gibson and Estelle Thompson.
