Nursing Home News
by Suzanne Griffin

Residents started their week with Sunday School with Mr. Charles Thorne on Sunday morning, and Mt. Olive came to share with us that afternoon. Monday began with Bible study, and as a special treat for the afternoon, Mrs. Jane Wiggins baked home made apple dumplings and ice cream for the residents. The halls were filled with sweet music as the members from Mt. Zion Fellowship came to sing for us Monday night. We played Bingo on Tuesday and Thursday morning. On Wednesday afternoon we rolled and cut out sugar cookies to have at Resident Council Thursday. Colquitt UM shared with us on Friday morning, and we had fun playing punch ball that afternoon. Family and friends came to be with us Saturday. We will be celebrating National Nursing Home Week during the month of May. The week is set for May 11-17, 2008; be looking for the different activities that are planed for this special week.
