Two arrested in drug bust

On Thursday, April 24, 2008, the Pataula Drug Task Force, Colquitt Police Department, and Miller County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 301 Moore Street in Colquitt.

During the search, cocaine and marijuana were seized. Several marijuana seedlings were also seized from the residence.

The following subjects were arrested at the scene: Charlie Hightower, b/m, age 49, address: 301 Moore Street Colquitt, and Melissa King, b/f, age 47, address: 603 N. Milford Street, Colquitt.

Pending charges include possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and manufacturing marijuana.
